The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, was awarded the 2019 Productivity Workshop Trustee Award from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
This award was handed over directly by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin through the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office, Andri Yansyah, at the RI Vice President's Palace, Central Jakarta, Thursday.

Head of Department Nakertrans handed over the 2019 Paramakarya Charter to Anies at the Jakarta City Hall, after attending the Plenary Meeting of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Parliament, on the same day. Anies welcomed and greatly appreciated her.
Head of the Jakarta Nakertrans Office, Andri Yansyah, said that the award was given to Regional Heads who were considered to have provided support and guidance to small and medium businesses, as well as companies that succeeded in increasing or maintaining productivity.
"Alhamdulillah, this award was given to the Governor of DKI Jakarta as a company builder, so that the company was awarded the Paramakarya award. It was handed over directly by the Vice President, at the Vice President's Palace. This parameter is a company whose productivity is measured over three years, progress is getting better and better," he said, quoted by the Jakarta PPID press release.
"The Government of the Republic of Indonesia gives awards to companies that can maintain the consistency of their company productivity. And it is hoped that this company can also knock on other companies, not only for large companies, but also for medium-sized companies as well as small companies," Andri added.
In his remarks at the Vice Presidential Palace, the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, Ida Fauziyah, explained that the Paramakarya award was given to companies that succeeded in increasing their productivity for at least 3 years in a row.
The productivity awards above consist of the Siddhakarya and Paramakarya awards.
Paramakarya is a national level productivity award, which is given by the President or Vice President every two years in odd years.
Whereas the Siddhakarya is a provincial productivity award, which is given by the Governor/Deputy Governor every year.
Both of these awards, both the Siddhakarya Award and Paramakarya are divided into 3 categories, namely for Large, Medium and Small companies.
This year, there were 30 companies that received the Paramakarya awards, namely 5 large category companies, 9 medium category companies, and 16 small category companies.
"The success of the thirty companies won this award, which brought the head of the region, won the Paramakarya Award," said Ida.
To note, the assessment process of the Paramakarya award takes several steps, namely the assessment is carried out using the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria which consists of 7 criteria, plus 1 new criteria to become 8 criteria.
The eight criteria are Leadership or Leadership, Strategic Planning or Strategic Planning, Human Resources Development and Management or Focus on Developing HR competencies and Organizations, Customer and Market Focus or Focus on Customers and Market Expansion.
Then, Information and Analysis or Data, Information and Analysis, Process Management or Process Management, Business Results or Business Results, and finally, Productivity.
